Klemens Gasser—Art Advisory, Museum Planning & Construction is a boutique firm that provides guidance, vision, and expertise to experienced and new collectors of modern and contemporary art with a focus on emerging artists.
Founder Klemens Gasser has thirty years of experience as a gallerist and ten years as a commercial real estate developer building the celebrated Metal Shutter Houses in New York City with Pritzker laureate Shigeru Ban.
This unique combination of experience positions the firm to best advise the serious collector in selecting the right artists, acquiring their best works, and engaging a world-class architect to design a private museum while providing hands-on supervision of the actual construction process.
Museum Planning & Construction services are offered independently of Art Advisory to private and public collections, foundations and exhibition spaces.
In cooperation with clients, Klemens Gasser—Art Advisory, Museum Planning & Construction develops a collection concept, a budget, and a schedule which reflects the market and the character of the collector.
In addition to acquisitions and assessments, the firm manages the collection and its day to day operations including shipments and installations; communications with artists, curators, and art dealers; loans, records and research; publications, curating and deaccessions.
Klemens Gasser—Art Advisory, Museum Planning & Construction keeps a limited inventory of works from artists that the firm is particularly committed to. Selected works are periodically offered for private sale.
